    Chart Not Updating

    My charts are not updating since end of session Friday. I have confirmed my ninjatrader continuum is live. I started a new chart with the same results. Any ideas as to how to troubleshoot this?

    Thank you for your post.

    Based on your description, it sounds like you may need to roll over. Many popular futures contracts expired on Friday and have rolled to the next front month. I'll need to confirm this before I can provide steps to resolve by asking a few questions. So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
    • What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
    • Who are you connected to for data? This is displayed in green on the lower-left corner of the Control Center window.
    • What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 03-22, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.
    • (For a chart) what interval is selected? For example, 5 minute, 1 day, 2000 volume, 4 Renko, etc.
    • Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      Ah, rollover. I thought I had it to rollover automatically. How do I make sure that happens?

        Thank you for your response.

        The auto rollover appears as a pop-up at the time that the rollover is scheduled to occur. If the pop-up is exited without rolling over, you may roll over from within the Database Management window using the steps below;
        • Navigate to the Control Center > Tools > Database window.
        • Left-click the ‘Rollover’ button that appears just below the table under the ‘Rollover futures instruments’ section.
        • Close this window when this process completes.
        • Lastly, please shut down and restart NinjaTrader, making sure to save your workspace with the new contract month
