Simulated data play not playing

    Simulated data play not playing

    How do I get the Simulated data to play on a chart? I only see the Trend button (button with the slider up/down) but there is no play/stop button visible, is it supposed to constantly move on its own?
    I followed these instructions with no luck in sight. Thank you.

    Inside the chart window, right click and go to Data Series ...

    Set the Trading Hours to 'Default 24/7'.

    Hint:
    See the Tip in your 2nd link. It is trying to tell you that
    simulated data is only generated according to the hours
    set in the Trading Hours template -- thus on weekends
    you need to use 'Default 24/7' to see any data.

      bltdavid Thank you, that did it I would never had guessed. Is there a way to control the speed as in Playback?

        Nope, don't think so ...

          Hello designer01,

          The Simulated Data Feed does not have a speed control like the Playback connection.
