alert when a candle changes color

hello,

I created an alert that should be triggered when a candle changes color (a bullish candle follows a bearish one and vice versa).
But the alert is triggered when the candle is not closed.
Here is the screenshot of the alert.
And I would like it to be triggered when the candle is closed.

What should I change?

Hi, thanks for posting. The alert looks correct. First, open up an Alerts log from the New menu to see if your alert is showing up there, and also add a pop up window to the alert actions so we can make sure the alert is triggering. It also may be failing from the custom bar type. Try it on a simple 1 minute bar to see if the alert triggers there.

I have exactly the same result on candles in 10 seconds.

I have attached the screenshot.

The alert works but on the current candle that is not closed.

And would have to trigger the alert at the close of the reversal candle (which changes color).

Hi, thanks for the follow up. To get the alert to trigger only on the bar close you would need to use BarsAgo 1 and 2. Alerts that look at Bar 0 will always trigger on the tick where the alert becomes true.
