Shortcut for enabling multiple strategies at the same time

Hi!

Is there a shortcut that enables multiple strategies in NT8 Control Centre all at the same time (as per attached screenshot), so each individual strategy doesn't need to be checked off one at a time?

Also, would enabling 30+ strategies at the same time (with plenty of memory cushion in server) create any technical issues or is this an okay practice without any chance of problems?

Thanks for your post.

You may use Ctrl + Click, Shift + Click, or Ctrl + A in the Strategies tab of the Control Center to select all strategies, then you may right click and select Enable to enable all of those strategies at once.

This is a very subjective question. This will depend on the volatility of each instrument, the complexity of your strategy logic, how often the strategy processes logic (calculate mode,) what kind of information the strategy analyzes.

For example, running 30+ strategies using heavy volume based analysis on volatile instruments may be very taxing. Simple crossovers detected on bar closes would not be nearly as taxing.

Since everyone's set up and needs will be different, I would suggest testing your set up in a way that it can be stress tested. (Test running your strategies on Sim101 accounts when there is greater volatility to see how well your setup would fair when it would be taxed the most.)
