    I'm back! (Possibly)

    Hi long time no speak, been away doing other things..............

    So, I'm going into futures - ES/NQ etc.

    NT8 is the perfect platform for futures trading, is it not?

    I assume I can still connect via API to Interactive Brokers and trade them that way?

    Thank you for the message.

    Yes, you are able to use the NinjaTrader platform to connect to an Interactive Brokers account.

    Please follow the steps from the following Connection Guide to set up a connection to an Interactive Brokers account within NinjaTrader.If you already have another version of Trader Workstation or IB Gateway installed on your computer, it is recommended to uninstall it and then use the Download Link from the connection guide above to download and install the platform as they have been modified to not Auto-update to a version that is not compatible with NinjaTrader.

    If you would like to be able to see a Live Interactive Brokers account within the NinjaTrader platform, you would need to upgrade to a Leased or Lifetime License Key:

        As well, all we can see is your Forum Username and no further information about the underlying user other than what is publicly available within the Forum.

        I included the additional information about the License Key within my response in case you connected to Interactive Brokers successfully, but then you didn't see your live account in the platform as some users are still using the Simulation License Key at this point and do not realize that they need a Free, Leased, or Lifetime License Key to see their live account within the platform.
