Strategy Builder partial Take Profit / TP

Hi,

I can't see how to set partial take profit levels using Strategy Builder, previous forum answers have suggested entering two orders with different TP levels, but that won't allow a move SL to Break Even BE strategy, it's a basic requirement so I hope there is a solution?

Hello TradingAssassin,

To do any kind of scaling out you need to use multiple entries. That is so you can use the signal name of the entry for each target that applies to that amount of the position.

To do a break even you would need to avoid using the stops and targets page of the builder and instead make logic using the Sets like the following sample: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...rategy-builder

Hello TradingAssassin,

I am not certain I understand, you can use the strategy builder to do scaling and break even.
Scaling requires multiple entries to use the Signal Name, A break even movement requires that you use OnBarUpdate, that means in the builder you cant use the stops and targets page which set default values. The link I provided shows how to do a break even in the builder.

If you need something more advanced you need to unlock the code and manually code it.

What you described is possible in multiple ways in NinjaScript.
