I tried to put a 400ema on a 15 second chart to keep an eye on the 20ema of the 5 minute chart but they don't quite match up... Any ideas?

If you would like to view the EMA for one time frame on a chart with bars from a different time frame, I suggest using a "hidden data series" to calculate the indicator. This process is detailed in the following YouTube video:
