Unable to attach .cs files to forum posts, "Error uploading image"

Hey Team,
Not sure if this is by design or there is a bug but i was trying to post a .cs file for someone earlier on the forums and i got "Error uploading image" everytime i tried, had to end up dumping text which is not ideal, i tried two different browsers (latest versions of chrome and firefox) and still the same error message, attached is a screenshot of what im seeing could someone advise?

To test are you able to upload the files after putting them into a compressed folder and attaching the folder?

This may be done by right-clicking on the file > Send To > Compressed Folder.

yes it appears to accept .zip files
