Weekly Trading session using daily bars ?

Hello NT,

Question: When will it be possible to setup weekly charts using daily bars? In other words, I want to load daily bars onto a chart but base the trading session on a weekly basis. I tried setting up a custom trading hours session but will not allow anything greater than 24 hours.

Hello,

Are you looking to load bars consisting of 7 days worth of daily data? If so, a weekly bar would accomplish this which can be loaded in the data series menu.
If this is not what you are referring to, can you provide an example or link to what you are referring to?

Instead of an "end of day session" I want an "end of week session". that consists of daily bars Start of session ----> "Sunday open into Monday close" ,Monday open into Tuesday close", Tuesday open into Wednesday close, " Wednesday open into Thursday close " ,Thursday open into Friday close " <----End of Session for Futures indexes

Hello,
The only weekly type bar study would be to use a weekly bar which will be the last 7 trading days as defined by your data provider. You can use a 10080 minute bar to create a similar type bar which will instead be built from minute data and will respect whatever trading hours template you apply.
