Connection to Interactive Brokers

Hello, I was able to connect to Interactive Brokers TraderWorkStation following all the steps in this link(see below) but I only can trade an account Sim1 when logged in to TWS. I have 5 paper trading accounts in IB which I am not able to see when logged via NinjaTrader. Please advice. How to access the accounts from NT. Thanks.

Thank you for your post.

From your description this would indicate that you have the Simulation only License Key which will not allow you to see any live or paper trading accounts.

This License Key starts with @SIM.

Please follow the steps below to enter your live license key:

• Disconnect from any active connections from the Control Center > Connections
• Navigate to the Control Center > Help > License Key
• Copy and Paste your live license key
• Click 'OK' to save your changes
• Reconnect to your account connection
• Note if you do not have a Live License Key or unsure what it is you may reach out to platformsales[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com to assist further

Hi Spencer, I do have a Ninja Trader one broker life license with IB. Do you need a multi broker license for access to both Paper and Live for Interactive Brokers? Also just to make sure I have the correct License where do I find the key?

You may see what license key you have entered under Help > License Key from within the Control Center window.
