Grandfathered Multi-Broker License

I am looking to Purchase a NinjaTrader Multi-broker license. However, I trade for 2 prop firms and I have been told that my Trade Copier script will only work with a Multi-broker license key that is “grandfathered in” since Multi-Broker License Keys issued after after July 15, 2014 will not let you have access to the former “Rithmic Legacy” connection AND the Rithmic for Ninjatrader Brokerage connection at the same time. Is it possible to get this?

No.

The NinjaTrader license agreement clearly states that
the lifetime license may not be sold.

Oh, sorry.

You can certainly buy a lifetime MBL -- but in no way will they bend their
rules and sell you a 'grandfathered' lifetime Multi-Broker license.

I may be able to help you there.

You can run a Trade Copier on NT8 that copies trades to NT7.

I believe this should not violate the NinjaTrader license -- since
trading on both platforms which are running simultaneously on the
same machine has always been allowed.

Note that if you make trades on NT8 that are copied to your NT7
(which is running on the same machine) you won't need a muti-broker
license.

There can only be one active connection to a Rithmic based connection at a time. It is not possible to connect to multiple accounts using the Rithmic or Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage connections.

Yes.

In fact, I think that is possible without an M/B license.

If you are a NinjaTrader Brokerage customer, I think they will
enable your S/B license for both types of connections.

This blanket statement is not exactly correct.

If you have a grandfathered M/B lifetime license, then yes, you are
allowed to log into two Rithmic-based connections at the same time.
For ex, setup Apex as 'Rithimic' and Bulenox as 'Rithmic for NinjaTrader
Brokerage' (or vice versa) -- and connecting to both at the same
time from the same NT8 instance is permitted.

Unfortunately, if your M/B lifetime license is not grandfathered, then,
sorry, Christopher is correct, you are denied this privilege.
