Importing custom historic data

Hello,

I see is NT guides that i can import only the 1 minute TF files of historic intraday data. I have a txt file with historic data of TF of 5 min. How can I import this data from NT?

Hi Federico, thanks for posting.

You can import tick data into the database as long as the format is correct. The supported formats are listed here:

https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt8/?importing.htm#UnderstandingImportFileAndDataFormats

If your .txt file does not reflect this format, a special program will need to be written that will re-format this data.

thank you chris, but i have not tick data, i only have 5 min bars data

Hi federicoo, sorry I somehow read that you were using tick data. The minute data must be in 1 minute format because all other minute bars greater than 1 are built from 1 minute data.
