No connection while markets open

At 6:20p Eastern, 5:20 Central, NinjaTrader 8 on my computer does not connect to the mother ship. Why not? Fortunately, the order adjustments I need to make are away from the market. But why can I not connect?

Jason, my question was more about Sunday opening than specific orders. Shouldn't NT8 have been able to connect at 5 p.m. Central on Sunday?
