Time Zone of Historical Data clarification

hi, sorry to bring this up as I know it's been answered but I'm not clear.

When I do Tools->Import->Historical Data->Get Market Replay Data and play it back...

If I'm in PST, how is market time shown in NT8 for me? Ex: if NT8 shows 6:30am is that data recorded from 9:30am EST?

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forum!

The time shown in your chart would always be based on the locally set timezone. During NinjaTrader's installation, it would automatically be set to your PC's timezone. However, you may also modify this under Tools > Options.

As market replay data is timestamped, the platform would then adjust all values to your local timezone.

This means in your example, you would indeed see the 9:30 AM EST real-time data at 6:30 AM, if the platform is set to PST.
