    NT8 Chart not updating w/ interactiver broker connection

    I connected NT8 with IB, ES chart not updating price but ATM prices Ask and Bid is updating no issue? only issue on chart, how can i fix it, thx

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    I just need a little bit more information about your specific setup to be able to diagnose the problem. So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
    • What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
    • What version of TWS or IB Gateway do you currently have installed? (This is located in TWS at Help > About Trader Workstation)
    • (For a chart) what interval is selected? For example, 5 minute, 1 day, 2000 volume, 4 Renko, etc.
    • Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      no error

        As i said bid ask prices live issue, but chart not woking freezed on opening

              Hello Murphy67,

              Thank you for your reply.

              For NinjaTrader to work correctly with Interactive Brokers, you must use the supported build of TWS. Specifically, the symptom that you are describing is as a result of using the incorrect build of TWS to connect. Currently, the version of TWS that is supported for use with NinjaTrader is 981.3i. In order to resolve this issue, you will need to install the supported build and connect using 981.3i rather than the 10.14.1a build. You may install the correct build from our connection guide at the link below;



              On an unrelated note, I can also see that you're using an older version of NinjaTrader 8. To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:
              • First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
              • Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
              • Enter your license key and press Submit
              • Select 'Download'
              • Locate the 'NinjaTrader.Install.msi' file in your Downloads on your PC, and left-click on it to run the installer
              • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
              Once you install and connect using the proper version of TWS, you should no longer experience the issue of your chart not updating along with the bid and ask prices.
