Chart Freezing in NT8

Good afternoon, So this has happened before, however has now become unbearable. Trying to simply load an ES Volumetric chart, however now it keeps blanking on and off, and freezing and slowing down all related (ES) charts. I can however open an MES volumetric chart. So it appears confined to the ES product/data. appreciate any help. thank you.

Thank you for the post.

This certainly sounds like unexpected behavior, particularly as it only happens on the ES but doesn't affect other instruments.

Does the problem persist if you delete your ES historical data and your cache data?

Please delete your historical data using the instructions provided at the following page of the NinjaTrader Help Guide:

Removing Historical Data

• Once the data has been deleted close NinjaTrader. Open the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\cache folder. Select all files then right mouse click and select “delete.”
• Open NinjaTrader and connect to your data provider. Open a new chart.

I performed the data deletions as instructed. unfortunately the problem remains. ES 30min and daily charts are fine, its only ever an ES renko or range or volumetric chart. appreciate anything you can recommend. thx

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
