How to set a line style as default?

Hi all.

How does one set a line style as default? (There is a button for that in NinjaTrader 7, but I don't see it in NinjaTrader 8...)

Thanks for the post.

Do you mean the properties for a line you have drawn, or using the 'Line on close' as the default chart style?

I have provided steps for both for your reference, if you meant an entirely different third option please let me know!

For a drawing object, right-click on your line and select Properties. Modify the line to your preference, then click the 'template' button in the lower left hand corner, then click save. Within the Save menu, there is an option to 'Save as Default'.

If you mean the 'Line on close' chart style, you can right-click within your chart and select Templates->Save as Default.
