historical data load

Hi

I have a Tick chart loaded in NT8 with what I thought is 30 days of historical data on it. I went to scroll back and look at earlier days and instead find that I have only 6 days of data.

I tried reloading and the same thing happened.

So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:

• What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
• Who are you connected to for data? This is displayed in green on the lower-left corner of the Control Center window.
• What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 03-22, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.

Hi Zach

NT8 version is 8.0.25.0

Data connections are Kinetick (real time) and Continuum.

Instrument Symbol is Es-03-22

Hello rexsole,

Thank you for your inquiry.

It is because you are using Kinetick for data. With Kinetick, when requesting tick data between the hours of 9:30am ET to 4:30pm ET, you will have access to 8 days of historical tick data. If you request the data outside those hours, the full 180 days is available. To load additional tick data using Kinetick, you will need to load it after 4:30 PM ET. Once it is loaded to your PC, however, it will be available at any time.
