    Agile.Net error message in NT8

    How to fix the Agile.Net error message that comes up when you click on Indicators on NT8?

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you include a screenshot of the error that you are referring to?
    • To send a screenshot with Windows 10 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.
    • Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

          Thank you for your reply.

          This message is coming from a third party add-on. Agile.NET is a security tool that vendors use to protect their code. First, you must locate the offending script in order to remove it. If the platform does not open properly, it will need to be removed manually by going to Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > bin > Custom. Once removed, you will need to contact the vendor to assist further. It's not always obvious which script is the offending script, and there is not a record in either the log, trace and WEV files that indicate which script is at the root of the problem.

          If this happened after a vendor assisted you with installing a new script, it is likely that that is the script that is generating the message. You may want to contact NexGen and see if they are familiar with this message from any of their scripts. If not, please email me your log and trace files so that we can attempt to help isolate which add-on it may be.

          You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

          Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
