Crosshair Lag and jerky movement

Hello,

Came back to NT after being away for a few years. I've noted the same jerky movement with the crosshairs on charts. If I shut NT down and restart everything is fine but the longer NT is active the more the problem comes back. I've got a brand new machine - here are the specs:

Win10
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor, 3701 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12 gig

Was there any fix for this?

Hi, thanks for posting. Please test by opening up a new, blank workspace and test the crosshair. If it lags there, I would recommend doing a complete re-install of the platform, steps to which I included below.

• Close all running applications.
• Navigate to your Documents folder > Right-click on the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder > Rename > rename the folder to 'NinjaTrader 8 OLD'. DO NOT delete this folder.
• Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
• Navigate to C:\ > Program File (x86) > Delete the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder if it exists
• Reboot your PC.
• Once these steps are completed, download and install NT8 from the link below:

If you do not get lagging in the new workspace there is some attachment, like an indicator, strategy, Market Analyzer column causing the issue in performance. Also make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card by installing "Geforce Experience" from the Nvidia website.
