globally attach lines not working

hello. i have a number of charts, different TF's. i have them all set to "Show global draw objects" in Data Series.i also have all lines set to attach to all charts. the problem is, some lines are seen on all the chartsand some lines can only be seen on some charts. can anyone help please....

Hello Alesiosc,

Could it be the lines you can't see are outside the visible display of the chart? Please click and hold your left mouse button on the right side of the price axis and move downwards. This will compress the price axis. You can do the same for the time axis - click and hold the left mouse button below the time axis and move to the right.

If you right click in a chart and select Drawing Tools-->Drawing Objects, do you see all drawing objects under Configured on the left?

thanks for your response. yes i have scrunched the screen to compare prices on the one chart to the other where it doesnt show. they are definitely not there

Could it be you have a different instrument selected in the affected charts?

Do the drawing objects show in the Drawing Tools-->Drawing Objects window? If so, please check what anchor points the drawing objects use and then make sure the anchor points are in the visible display of the chart.

this is weird. ray 13 shows on both properties but only on the one chart....Saddle Brown Dash Dot Dot line

You may need to make an adjustment to your Data Series properties, as it is possible to include (or unintentionally exclude) Global Drawing Objects from one or more charts.
Please edit the Data Series from the chart that is missing the Drawing Objects (CTRL + F) and ensure the “Show global draw objects” property is enabled.

This post was a year ago and I'm sure you have it resolved but for future reference.

Once you have 'Show global draw objects' checked on each chart,
Draw your object on a chart
Right-click object
Properties
In the right panel, under 'General',
Click 'Attach to' and select 'All charts'
Before applying you might want to select 'template' and save as default
Now any time you draw on one chart it will show on all charts
