Daily SMA on 15 minute chart, multiple data series w/o chart/panel

Good morning. I am trying to get a couple daily SMAs to work correctly on a 15minute chart. I understand I need to load multiple data series into the chart. I do not want a separate panel. I want them to display in the 15minute chart. Why isn't there an option to disable visual chart display for another data series if you just want to use indicators from it? This seems to me to be something that should be very simple. The way I have this set up now is to maximize the 15minute chart with the daily panel hidden or minimized. The problem is that the SMA's aren't anywhere close to where they should be!!! What is going on? Please tell me I don't need to use scripts to get a daily SMA on a chart with a different time interval!!!!!!! look at the blue indicator????

You can set up a hidden data series by following this video:

After you have hidden the daily series, you can point the "Input Series" of the indicator to the hidden daily series.

e.g.

Making progress here but indicators are still displaying funny. I restarted the program and matched daily and 15 minute days to load time to 90.

Chris I adjusted SMAs to On Each Tick without a difference in the chart. Still same problem.

You need to set the indicators to "Calculate - OnEachTick" so they display on the current day.

I don't see anything wrong in your screen shot, please describe what you are seeing as wrong in the screen shot. The SMA is displaying the Daily value. E.g. the current 14 SMA value on the Daily ES 03-22 is the same:

Chris the 200 day daily SMA is currently at 4418 on my daily chart. I am displaying 4650 on the other chart with same settings. ?????

Make sure the Daily chart you are looking at also has the indicator set to "OnEachTick"

Daily data series days to load needed to be set to 365. Now I have the indicator on the chart. But, when I "zoom" in past a certain point via click and drag to the left on time scale the indicator DISAPPEARS. Is this a glitch or a normal behavior? Let's continue on Monday please. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for your reply. This is expected because the SMA is plotting from the Daily series, and when you scroll back the previous Daily value will be shown. The plot has a value for each daily bar and there are many more 15 minute bars than daily bars that display inside of the chart. Test it by dragging the chart back and you will see the daily SMA plot change for each day being disaplayed.
