Bandwidth Requirements

I am looking at buying a new house in rural Tennessee and they have no high speed connection. They say satellite service will deliver 25 mbs. Does anybody know what the requirements are to have a stable and current data feed in NT8

Unfortunately, we do not have a minimum internet connection speed we can suggest. If you intend to trade live, we recommend getting the fastest internet connection possible.

Generally, the more download and upload bandwidth you can use, the smoother the data stream will be processed, especially during periods where the market is experiencing high volatility.

This also depends on your level of activity when trading, how much data you are requesting, and if there are any other devices connecting to this network that are using internet bandwidth.

If you don't need it, deactivate the L2 data on your broker's data feed.

That will help save on bandwidth.
