Migrating NT8 Workspace to New Desktop

Hello,
I am having to replace my desktop computer and I was wondering if there is a way to migrate my primary workspace to the new computer? I really just need to move, or save to backup, a chart template that I like to use. Any help will be appreciated.

Inside NinjaTrader on PC #1 make a backup.
Tools -> Export -> Backup File

Copy this backup file to PC #2.

Inside NinjaTrader on PC #2 do a restore.
Tools -> Import -> Backup File

You can tell the Export process to backup only
your Templates, or just your Workspaces, so
you do have some control there.

Beware, all the third-party indicators in use by
your workspace on PC #1 should also be migrated
onto PC #2 -- either by copying, importing, or
running an installer. (You may or may not be
able to do all this via the Export step when you
make the backup -- some third party indys are
very complex and have their own installer).

Also, for any third-party indicator that you purchased,
(ie, any indicator that requires its own license) you'll
probably need to contact each vendor and update your
license to the MachineId from PC #2.

Otherwise you may have errors opening that restored
workspace on PC #2.

Hint:
Rule of thumb if you've purchased a third party
product that comes with an installer, then use the
installer process to setup that product onto PC #2.
Otherwise, if no installer, but the 3rd party product
has a zip file to import, then setup that product onto
PC #2 via importing the zip file. Otherwise, the product
can (usually) be migrated as part of the Export/Import
process.
