position in range of lookback period

    Hi,
For builder, is there a method of identifying the range position of o, h, l, or c within a lookback? e.g. the close of [0] is in the bottom 10 percentile or lowest 10% of the last 30 bars?
    thanks,
    David

Hi David, thanks for posting. The builder can not do any mathematical operations between two numbers or iterate through a data series . The script would need to be unlocked to find this range. The algorithm can be performed using concepts from C# programming such as a for loop (to iterate from bar 0 to bar x) and using data from any of the price series arrays.

    Kind regards,
    -ChrisL
