No risk settings error?

Using my Sim101 account, I am unable to submit orders as I am receiving "Cant be summited: No risk settings defined for this instrument"
I have reset my sim account and looked at the account risk settings. They are set to default and should be fine.
What should I do?

Thank you for your inquiry.

This error message indicates that the risk template that you have applied to the account does not have a definition for the instrument that you are trying to trade. You may resolve this in one of two ways. You may either add this instrument to your risk template definitions OR remove the risk template from the account entirely.

To add the instrument to the risk template by going to Control Center > Tools > Risk, selecting the risk template that's applied to the account, clicking add, then entering the instrument and your desired settings.

Otherwise, to remove the risk template from the account entirely, please see the steps below;

1. Disconnect from your account connection at Control Center > Connections > disconnect
2. Go to the 'Accounts' tab on the Control Center
3. Select the Sim101 account with a left-click
4. Right-click and select 'Edit Account'
5. Change the 'Risk' setting from it's current value to '<None>'
6. Select the 'reset' button in the lower right-hand corner
7. Choose whether or not you want to clear the account history and select 'Yes' on the prompt
8. Reconnect to your connection at Control Center > Connections.
