Hello martinmessier,
I used a smaller value to test with the Simulated Data Feed.
Yes, the arithmetic offset would be in points.

NinjaTrader_Jim , one question though... In the configuration you show, the offset is defined at 5 arithmetic. That corresponds to 15 points?

Hello martinmessier,
There may be some confusion involved with the last response.
If I set up an alert like we seen in my screenshot, it will trigger when the price touches or climbs over the EMA + 15 points.

Wow! I never believed this would be such a complex request. Thanks for the heads-up.

Hello marinmessier,
Thank you for your note.
I believe that the complexity of this alert that you are looking to build would only be possible using custom programming with NinjaScript, the Alerts window's condition builder can only set a cross above/cross below condition for a specific value or comparing two items such as a data series and an indicator or two indicators plots. If you are a programmer yourself, I can have a member of our NinjaScript Support team assist further with suggestions on how this could be accomplished using NinjaScript.
Please let us know if we may assist further.

Alert whenever price is 15 points above or below EMA
Hi,
How can I set up an alert so that NT8 emits a sound every time the price reaches 15 points above or below the EMA? I've experimented with several different configurations, but have failed to make it operate the way I want it.
If possible, I'd like it to rearm automatically. If not, I don't mind doing it manually after it sounds.
Thanks!Tags: None
