NT8 chart does not update while using IB as datafeed

While using InteractiveBrokers as data feed, charts in NT8 does not update, however the Ask, Bid, and Last prices are updating in Basic Entry window without issue. Please help me to fix the issue.

It sounds like you may not be using the currently supported version of IB TWS for NinjaTrader 8, which often causes this type of behavior. To properly receive data and make trades through IB using NinjaTrader 8, you will need to use TWS version 981.3h or IB Gateway 981.3g, which may be downloaded directly from our IB Connection Guide linked below:

Once you have downloaded the updated version of TWS/IB Gateway required to work with IB in NinjaTrader, continue to follow along with that Connection Guide to ensure that everything is set up and enabled for the two programs to communicate and work correctly with one another.


Using NinjaTrader 8 with any other version of the IB platform will result in unexpected behavior as these versions are not officially supported. Your IB software will also refrain from automatically updating when downloaded from our Connection Guide.

Justin, thank you for the response. After downgrading from the latest IB TWS to 981.3h (I was using the latest version IB TWS), the charts are updating now.
