FDXS Micro-DAX and FDXM Mini-DAX futures with NT8 + Interactive Brokers connection

How do I trade both Eurex FDXS Micro-DAX and FDXM Mini-DAX futures with NT8 + Interactive Brokers connection?

When I put DAX|||1 to FDXS and DAX|||5 to FDXM in the instrument mapping, the system trades FDXM even if I have FDXS selected on SuperDOM.

I want to be able to trade both since I use strategy for one instrument and do manual trades with the other.

Thank you for the reply.

Unfortunately, with an Interactive Brokers it is only possible to enable one at a time. The symbol mapping for the FDAX, FDXS and FDXM are the same. They have a separate multipliers to identify each one. Since the symbol mapping is the same, the symbol mapping can only be included for one at a time in the Instrument Manager. By default, the FDXM and FDXS will be disabled. To use FDXM or FDXS instead of FDAX, please use these steps:

• From the Control Center, navigate to Tools -> Instruments.
• Search for FDXM or FDXS.
• Once found, click on the symbol in the list and select "edit".
• Scroll down to the Symbol Mapping for Interactive Brokers and delete the "-disabled" part of this Parameter.
• Click "OK" to save your changes.

Once this is done, please disable the FDAX instrument.

• From the Control Center, navigate to Tools -> Instruments.
• Search for FDAX.
• Once found, click FDAX and select "edit".
• Scroll down to the Symbol Mapping for Interactive Brokers and add in the "-disabled" just after the instrument name. This will look almost exactly like the FDXM instrument did before.
• Click "OK" to save your changes.

Hi, may I followup on this question please:

I have followed the description and everything worked well 2 weeks ago. However, since yesterday I am getting the error message below and the chart does not load anymore.

Has anything changed? Of did I by mistake change my settings in some way? Please have a look attached. Thank you!

Yes, mappings have changed. EUREX must be added after the first pipe in the symbol map.

I.E.

DAX|EUREX||1

We have updated most of these mappings, and have noted to update this mapping on our information server so they will be updated upon platform restart. (Should happen later today.)
