Privacy of data capture (if any) by NT client.

Hello.

1. What data does NT client share with NT company or any other party? If yes, is there a page that shows that or lets one modify what to share?
2. If one was running NT client with IB and not NT brokerage would the NT client share any data with NT company?

1. The NinjaTrader platform behaves like a radio in that it is primarily receiving signals from your connection and displaying them to you (price data, order/position information, etc.). There isn't anything actively sent from NinjaTrader anywhere else. When trading to a live account, a signal must necessarily be sent from NinjaTrader via your order routing technology to your broker/the exchange.
2. The answer to this question is the same, but you can replace "order routing technology" and "your broker" with Interactive Brokers

Connection-specific disclaimers will appear after you've created a connection for the first time. Additionally, those disclaimers can be found in the connection guides. Finally, the NinjaTrader platform has terms of service that you can read when you install NinjaTrader or here.

Thank you. That is great information. makes sense. I read the link you provided. Nice document.

The only other thing I notice in document is this. Which makes sense too.

"User’s IP address and Platform generated GUID is transmitted and recorded with each User session"

This is also in document and is great

"Company shall not monitor, edit, or disclose any personal information about User or User’s 6 account, including its contents or User’s use of the Platform, without User’s prior written consent"

To summarize and one more question.

So as I understand, outside of exchange data needed for trading, IP address and account information for trades, order routing and margins etc. no intellectual proprietary data like NT scripts, local files (NT related or other windows files) or individual configuration data of NT on local machine is shared with NT company or any third party?

That's correct. In NinjaTrader's current configuration, all user-created or imported data is stored locally on your PC.
