just got NT8 please give step by step instructions on how I can get a tick chart for MBT futures

Thank you for your message.


While connected to your live data provider, you can open a new chart from the Control Center > New menu.

From there, choose any instrument from the predefined Instrument Lists in the drop-down, or type in the symbol and expiry for any instruments that aren't listed such as 'MBT 01-22'. Once you've added MBT 01-22, you can select Ticks from the Type drop-down and choose the number of ticks below that.

I highly recommend watching these Charting 101 and 201 webinars from our YouTube channel to become comfortable and see many of the available features on charts in NinjaTrader 8.

I dont see "new menu" option. in the control center
