    Unhandled Exception Trapped initializing in safe mode?

    Hi,

    I've been running into problems where the CPU during initialization and frequently for a long period afterward runs at 100% CPU and effectively just hangs.

    I am going through the list of performance tips and also started in safe more to see if that solved the 100% CPU issue.

    It does however I'm seeing an unhandled exception in the LOG with a RED background. When I run in normal mode, I'm effectively locked out until this unhandled exception message occurs which can take quite a while.

    I am also getting this message in safe mode only it occurs within a minute or so.

    I am attaching the trace and logs for this safe mode initialization.

    Is this something that should be occurring especially in safe mode and can it be corrected?

    As of now I am effectively unable to use NT except in a very limited way (small number of charts) and would appreciate the help.

    Thank you for your post.

    Please completely remove and reinstall NinjaTrader. NT8 can be completely removed and reinstalled for our tests without losing your saved information. Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader.
    • Close all running applications.
    • Uninstall NinjaTrader within Windows Control Panel.
    • Navigate to your Documents folder > Right click on the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder > Rename > Rename the folder to 'NinjaTrader 8 OLD'. DO NOT delete this folder.
    • Navigate to C:\ > Program File (x86) > Delete the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder if it exists
    • Reboot your machine.
    • Once these steps are completed, download and install NT8 from the link below.
    • You may download the platform here
    Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

    When you start NinjaTrader you can test to see if the same behavior occurs. If not, then you can restore your previously saved settings with the steps below:
    • Copy these files and folders from your old, renamed (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 8 folder to your new folder. If asked to replace files, always select "yes"
      • Config.xml
      • UI.xml
      • workspaces
      • templates
      • all .dll files in bin\Custom except these :
        • NinjaTrader.Custom.dll
        • NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll
      • all .cs files in bin\Custom except these :
        • NinjaTrader.Custom.cs
        • NinjaTrader.Vendor.cs
        • AssemblyInfo.cs
      • any subfolder of bin\Custom that has a .cs file that does not start with an @ sign
    • Start NinjaTrader 8. You will receive some dialogs about Ninja being unable to start because it needed to recompile some dlls. OK out of these dialogs
    • Start NinjaTrader 8
