Generally, when we see this message, it is because there is an antivirus/security software that is blocking NinjaTrader access. Do you have any antivirus software installed on your PC? If so, which software are you using?

First and foremost, make sure that NinjaTrader 8 is added as an 'Allowed' application in Avast. There is a guide for how to allow applications through Avast, which is publicly available at the link below;

Additionally, you will want to add the following folders as exceptions in Avast:

• C:\Users\<Yourusername>\Documents\NinjaTrader 8
• C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8
