    Indicator Update

I uploaded a custom indicator today which included an EMA as part of the indicator. I got the message "the existing file 'Indicator/@EMA.cs' on your PC is a newer version of the one contained in the ninjaScript Archive File you are importing." I selected "Yes", which replaced the newer version of the EMA with one I assume is an older version. Is there a way to revert this, or upload the previous EMA? Is there any way I can see what the difference between the two EMAs is?

    Hello anjoda90,
    Thank you for the note.

To replace the @EMA with the more recent version, you will want to remove this file and then Repair the installation to put the file back.
    • Close NinjaTrader
    • Go to the Documents folder > NinjaTrader 8 > bin > Custom > Indicators
    • Find the @EMA.cs file and Delete it
Go to the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features (Sometimes "Uninstall a program) > Click NinjaTrader 8 > Click Repair > Click Next through the prompts until finished
    • This process will replace the @EMA.cs file back to what was originally when NinjaTrader was installed.
