Folks, what is the best way to receover from a network timeout?
I have about 30 strategies that I set up an run automatically. I leave in the morning, and then come back when the trading day is done, and check on their performance.
The problem I'm running into is, during the day, my network connection will periodically time out, taking 1-4 minutes of outage and then restore the connect. This creates two problems. First, all of the strategies I was running are now disabled. Second, since the strategies are disabled, I can no longer see their performance.
Here's a typically situation. I set up my strategies the night before, and then leave the house at 6 AM. By noon, my strategies have made six trades. At 1 PM, my network connection reboots. Now, all of my strategies are disabled, and I can no longer see what strategies traded prior to the outage, and their performance.
Your thoughts? Thanks,
