CQG Demo account connection issue

Hi NT Support Team,

I am unable to connect to my Demo account. I looked up and could not find anything about demo account expiring on NT. I still tried to create a new one but I got the "Demo Allowance Exceeded" email.

I am getting the "Username or password is incorrect" error. I have not changed the connection settings since setting it up a while ago. I still tried to create a new connection and provided credentials from the email, but still no luck.

I appreciate any help with this issue.

Thank you for your post.

Is this a demo account that is older than 14 days? You can check the date of the email that your username and password arrived in. Demo accounts are only active for 14 days. After 14 days from the date shown in the email, the demo will no longer function.

Thank you Shawn. I must have missed the warning about account being valid for only 14 days (yes, it looks like I opened it on Nov 28th, 2 weeks ago).

Is there a way to extend the trial period, since I can't open a new one, without having to open and fund live account?

2 weeks is such a short period to make that decision, at least for me!
