    New Computer / Setting Up NT8

    So... from the advice of NT, I bought a new bad ass gaming laptop to need any current or future needs. Downloaded the platform. Exported the back up file and imported in new computer platform as noted in many posts. it sill will not let me sign in. I know my log in and password are good because I can still sign into the old computer. I did notice the machine license ID is different, but the platform did say I had to sign in for other items to fully set up. I need help. What do I do? Its been over 4 hours and no help from tech support. Let messages on the voicemail. Sent emails. All I've received was emails saying they are punting it to someone else. HELP!!!!!

    This is extremely disappointing due to my tradestation and tastyworks accounts had me up and going both in less then 5 minutes. NT..... 4 hours and counting.

    Glad to assist. Unfortunately if there is a matter that needs to be addressed by another team, you will need to follow up and reply to that email. It appears you requested data regarding resetting the login, which needs to be addressed by another team.

    We will not be able to change these matters via the forum in any case.

    If you no longer think your login needs to be reset, you can use the steps below to verify the connection setup.

    First, enter your live key via Help > License key.

    Please go to Connections > Configure.

    Select the connection you created via Configured in the lower left. Once selected, the settings will show to the right.

    Under the right Properties, verify that "NinjaTrader Continuum" is selected. If not, recreate the connection with this selected from the Available menu.
    • The log in credentials are case-sensitive and can be difficult to type manually. I advise copying and pasting them directly from the email into NinjaTrader. Make sure, when highlighting to copy, that no extra spaces are highlighted before or after the log in details.
    • For the Live account, make sure the "Demo" box is Not selected when entering the log in details. You will still be able to access the Sim101 account to submit demo/simulation orders.

      I have the same problem:
      I have installed NT to my new PC, put in the live time license key, fill my data feed My Ninja Trader Continuum credentials, back up file from my old laptop restores on the new PC, and when connected to My NT Continuum I only be able to Demo trade. My live account will not show up. I have already sent an email, waited the whole day till now and no aswer from NT. Please help!
      Is it an idea to make a good instruction with video when you have to install NT at a different new computer?

        Can you please check if you have your live license key entered into your platform? Go to the Control Center > Help > License key.
