Alert for consecutive up/down candles

Is it possible to create and alert (or strategy?) identifies a certain number of consecutive up or down candles. For example, sound an alert when there are 4 consecutive down candles on a chart.

Thank you for your post.

This is definitely possible using Alerts. To create this alert, you would create an alert with 4 conditions that compare the Data Series to itself using a 'Greater' operator. Each condition would be the same, except you would change the 'Bars Ago' property on each. I've created a video demonstration of how this can be achieved at the link below;

In the video, I did not apply a 'Rearm Type'. However, if you want the alert to rearm itself, you will need to select your preferred option.
