    Chart not updating, but market analyzer is

    Hi, my chart is not updating with real-time data (from IB), but the market analyzer window is updating fine. The data in my TWS platform is also updating fine and matches NT's market analyzer. Tried restarting the platform and reconnecting but still the same issue.

    If I do reload historical data on the chart, it updates up to the latest price but then the chart is static.

    I'm on NT version 8.0.24.3

    Any idea?

    Thank you for your note.

    So that I may better assist please answer the following questions:
    • What version of Trader Workstation are you currently using? This may be found under Help > About Trader Workstation
    • What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 12-21, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.
    • (For a chart) what interval is selected? For example, 5 minute, 1 day, 2000 volume, 4 Renko, etc.
    • Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      Hi Spencer,

      My version of TWS is 10.10.2r.
      I tried this on both MES 12-21, MNQ 12-21, and MYM 12-21. All of these instruments update in real-time in market analyzer, but the charts for all do not update.
      I tried various time-charts, like 1/5/30 minute, but the chart remains static.
      There are no errors in the Log tab.

        Hello sdd80,

        Thank you for your reply.

        I see that you are using an unsupported version of Trader Workstation.

        I would recommend uninstalling the current version you are using then installing the fully supported version from the Interactive Brokers Connection Guide linked below:Please let me know if you are still experiencing the same after installing the supported version.
