x ticks reversal footprint/volumetric

Hello,

in one of the rooms I´m in they use eg a 5-Ticks-Reversal-Footprint (screenshot attached), I dont can setup this in NinjaTrader so I want to ask if this will be possible with an upgrade.
(it looks similar like point and figure, but its not exactly the same. you will know what this could be used by other software like sc)

Thanks for the post.

Your screenshot appears to show a third party chart style, which is not available in NinjaTrader by default.

Unfortunately I am unaware of any vendors that may provide this as an add-on, but will leave this post open so that other forum users can chime in if they know.

with this reply I have to be more accurate now. This is a screenshot from sierrachart software, one of the platforms having the "x-ticks reversals" as dataseries/barstype.

This is used in 2 rooms I´m in and I´m missing this with my trading. And its one of the reasons traders decide to trade with another software.

I am asking if this might be in NinjaTrader in an upgrade, and not asking if any vendor does provide this.

NinjaTrader does not currently have a reversal bar type, though we do have the Order Flow Volumetric chart which is similar to a footprint chart.

There is an existing feature request to add this bar type, I have added a vote on your behalf.

We really need reversal tick chart for volumetric bar type. i've a lifetime licence and it's really missing. It's available on sierra chart as a standard bartype. Please update ninja with this new feature.
