connection lost to the NT server hourly

EDIT: It appears that this issue is caused by dynamic IP address settings. I've changed my WIFI adapter settings now, and I'll update this post if I continue to experience connection issues.

For a couple of days now, I'm seeing errors of connection lost to the NT information server, often hourly. Is this simply an issue with my internet network equipment, or does it indicate another issue?
