Connection lost to the NinjaTrader Historical Data Server

I moved my NinjaTrader over the a VPS about two weeks ago and I've noticed that I continue to lose connection to the historical data servers. Some instances my platform is reset requires me to verify my Ninja license to get out of global simulation mode. The message I receive is as follows:

'using hds (hds-us-nt-003.ninjatrader.com/31655)'
'Connection lost to the NinjaTrader Historical Data Server: hds-us-nt-005.ninjatrader.com'

I was testing an automated trade strategy in Sim last week and lost connection while in the trade. Can you determine if it's a plafform issue or server issue by viewing the log and trace files?

Thank you for your note.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 3302385" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
