I have a custom indicator from someone who got it from someone else.
The indicator draws an arrow on the chart as an entry signal.
I want to have an audible sound when the arrow is drawn.
There are parameters on the indicator for sound file name. I've used the generic files (Alert1.wav), which I confirmed were in my Sounds folder.
But, the indicator doesn't produce a sound.
The custom indicator does print on the Alerts Log when the arrow is drawn.
I've configured alerts on the same workspace, and I get sound from those - so it's not like my sound is muted or something.
Is there a way (like the log file perhaps) where I can look to see which folder the indicator is looking at for the sound file?
If not, is there a way to make the Alert Log produce a sound? Or maybe some other tool like Strategy Analyzer or something?
The indicator is not something I could easily configure as an alert. It uses volume and other information that is not really part of my chart. (I know how to create alerts using indicators added to the chart).
