Is it posible to do that or just to specify to the indicator to calculate the 100 periods from 5m bars instead the 610 ticks? I can see in the indicator properties that is posible to edit the input series but is only available the current chart and indicators.

Show an indicator from chart A to chart B calculating chart A
Hi everyone, Im trying to copy a (100 EMA) from a 5 minute chart to a 610 tick chart but to keep calculating the 100 EMA with the 5M bars instead of ticks.
Is it posible to do that or just to specify to the indicator to calculate the 100 periods from 5m bars instead the 610 ticks? I can see in the indicator properties that is posible to edit the input series but is only available the current chart and indicators.Last edited by mkouitra; 10-06-2021, 05:44 PM. -
Hello mkouitra,
Yes, please create a chart with 2 data series - 5 Minute and 610 Tick. Please see the link below for information upon using multiple data series in one chart.
https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...g_with_multipl e_data_series.htm
Open the Indicator menu in the chart and add the EMA. Set 'Input series' to the 5 Minute data series by clicking the Input series field. Select the 5 Minute data series and click OK. Set 'Panel' to the same panel as the 610 Tick data series. The EMA is now calculated on 5 minute bars and it is plotted on the 610 Tick bars.
If you like to not show the 5 Minute bars, please hover your cursor on the horizontal line that divides both data series. Click and hold the left mouse button and move up or down.JasonNinjaTrader Customer Service
