Volume Over Minute Time Periods

I'd like to create a futures chart of volume over the last completed 3-minute and 15-minute periods.
Is that possible, and, if so, how do I do it?

Hello Stephen,

You can set Type to Volume in the Data Series menu of a chart, however you can't base volume bars on time periods.

You could create a 3 or 15 Minute chart. Subsequently add the VOL indicator and it will plot volume per 3 or 15 minute bars.

I'm sorry, Jason. I explained this poorly. When I wrote chart, I was thinking of an Excel type chart, like in Market Analyzer.

Could you address that?

No worries, thank you for clarifying. You can use the Market Analyzer to view volume of the current 3 or 15 minute bar. Please right click in the Market Analyzer and select 'Columns'. Add an Indicator column. Select the VOL indicator and set Type/Value to Minute/3 or Minute/15.

If you like to view the volume of the prior 3 or 15 minute bar, please set 'Calculate' to 'On bar close' for the VOL indicator in the Market Analyzer.
