Different prices depending on the platforms used on NT

Hi,

I quickly searched the forum and I didn't find anything. I hope it is the correct place.
I use ninjatrader on two different devices. On one I have an NT account and on the other I use TopStep, and looking at NQ 12-21 today I saw that many one minute candles had different values of a tick or more. Why? Does it depend on platforms or data?

Thank you for your inquiry.

It would be expected that there would be differences when comparing charts from 2 different market data vendors. Market data vendors each employ various methods for tick filtering, throttling and time stamping. As a result, no data stream is 100% identical and thus can cause differences in charts. This is especially true on more granular time frames and tick-based intervals. You may read more about how bars are built in NinjaTrader from the link below;
