volume profile

Hello, my volume profile is not aligning on the chart correctly. No matter what I have the settings to the profile is all the way to the left. Even if I put the settings to CME RTH the profile is all the way to the left of the chart. I can't even see it. I've attached a image below that i have set to just regular trading hours but as you can see i can not see it. Please advise. thank you

Hi agraham, thanks for posting.

The "Profile Period" needs to be changed to adjust. It is set it Session by default so what you are seeing here is a volume profile of each session. Change this to Composite for a volume profile of all data on the chart.

i think i figured out why it's not working properly. does the volume profile indicator work on (with) the volumetric bars? the drawing tool for the volume profile works but not the actual indicator.

Hi agraham,

The OF Volume Profile does work with Volumetric charts. You need to set the chart to volumetric daily or make it composite to view it on smaller time frames.
