How to view more than 1 year of data if using exotic bar

I use Rithmic and I can get 10 years of 15 minute bar data for ES futures without issue and display it in an NT8 chart. In fact any X minute (e.g. 1 minute bar data is available to me 10 years back). However, if I use an exotic bar type, such as LineBreak, Range, Renko, etc., I seem to only be able to pull 1 year of data. Why is this? Is it because exotic bars are built with tick data and is Rithmic allowing me only to download 1 year of tick data? Or is there a limitation within NT8 Charts displaying only 1 year of exotic bar data?
