Cannot add SSO to instrument list

I have NT8.0 and the license where I can trade stocks with TD Ameritrade. I am able to add instruments like SPY and QQQ but some reason it does not find SSO. The TD Ameritrade's thinkorswim web application does list SSO.

Why can I not bring up SSO in the Market Analyzer or a graphic chart?

Thank you for your inquiry.

Since this is a custom symbol, it may require some added configuration to work properly with TD Ameritrade. The default exchange selection may be preventing the chart from working properly. Please try the following;

Navigate to your SSO chart
Type 'SSO NYSE' (without the quotation marks)
Press Enter

Did the symbol work as expected when you entered the exchange manually?

If not, are you getting any type of an error message?

Thank you for the quick response. I typed in SSO NYSE and that got SSO to appear in the chart.
