Pacing Violation

Hi,

I just got the following message on NT8:

Pacing Violations: More than 10 API calls of type 'Hearbeat' in 150 seconds.

What does this mean and why am I getting it?

I only started getting them today.

I just got a connection lost to Ninjatrader Information Server:is-us-nt-001.ninjatrader.com
then 10 seconds later on the log, suing HDS (is-us-nt-002.ninjatrader.com/31658)
then connection restored.

are these related?

I suspect these are related but I would like to take a closer look at your diagnostic files.

Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

What ever became of this issue? What is the general situation that causes this?

Hi Bruce,

After diagnosis by the support team, it was suggested that I should update to a newer version of NT8 as I was using an older version and I wasn't aware there was an updated version.
